I was born an army brat on Ft. Bragg in North Carolina and we moved to Utah when I was 2 years old. I lived in the Salt Lake Valley for 7 years, then we moved to Brigham City, then further north to the Fielding area another 7 years later, and my parents are still there. I have two older brothers and two younger brothers, making me the middle child and the only girl, or "the rose among the thorns", as my mom loved to say.

My mom loves natural healing methods as well as understanding the human body and she passed both of those things down to me as I grew up, so it was only natural for me to want to become a massage therapist. As a mid-teen, I would use dōTERRA essential oils and apply them to my parents' legs and work out scar tissue post-surgery. My parents told me I had a very healing energy and I gave good massages. As I explored the idea of becoming a massage therapist, I felt the passion growing and I knew God wanted me to pursue this path. But before I was able to start working toward it, the adjustment to missionary age eligibility for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints was made, and I felt called another way.

At age 19, I left on a mission to the Spokane, Washington area (borders extended from Grand Forks, BC, Canada to about Grangeville, Idaho, and TumTum, Washington to Libby, Montana), served for about 19 months, and returned home with a fresh passion for life. I started working in a call center to save up and prepare to go to school, but another blessing took place instead and I was able to have school fully funded. I had to quit my job due to a family vehicle loss, but I was able to start making preparations to live with my Grandma in the Salt Lake Valley so that I could live closer to school. The Sunday after thanksgiving in 2016, my aunt that was living with my grandma suddenly passed away and my grandma asked me to move in sooner, so i got home that night at 1 AM, woke up in the morning, started packing up my life and essentials, and moved in to my grandma's that night, two weeks sooner than planned.

I attended the Utah College of Massage Therapy from January to July of 2017 on their Basic Massage program and graduated in August, then went on to complete their MasterBodyworker Program from October to December of 2017. I worked in a massage spa during the masters program, then did outcall massage with Soothe and Zeel during the first few months of 2018. I started working in a Chiropractic office in April and that jump-started another passion: injury rehabilitation and posture correction massage.

Yellow Brick Road Massage

Over the last 6 years, I've spent 4 of those working with and learning from chiropractors and helping people in their health and healing process, especially after car accidents.
