Swedish / Deep Tissue Massage

Kneading techniques and smooth, gliding strokes help relax muscles and the mind. For a massage more geared toward decreasing pain and stiffness, deeper pressure and triggerpoint therapy can be used to increase range of motion and decrease discomfort. The intent of deep tissue massage is not to cause intense pain or leave the client feeling sore, but rather to promote healing and blood flow to areas that may be restricted in movement.

Sports Massage

For sports performance, supporting good movement, and injury prevention. Can be received before or after a sports event to help with performance and recovery, but as massage changes how the muscles function, it is recommended to start receiving sports massage during the off season or at the beginning of training for an event to allow time during practice and training to adjust to your body's new patterns. Power and agility can be affected after receiving a massage. Stretching and client movement techniques are used throughout to support your sports goals.

Injury Rehab Massage

Focused work intended to support healing of injuries. Expect to be given recommendations for at-home care. These recommendations support work done in the massage. Usually not a full body massage.
